About the Opportunity

The organization is a pioneer of the Connected Operations™ Cloud, a platform that enables organizations dependent on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. The company is helping improve the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of the physical operations that power the global economy. Representing more than 40% of global GDP, these industries are the infrastructure of our planet, including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing — and the organization is excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale.

About the role

  • Lead and scale a broad Financial Operations organization spanning Source to Pay, Global Payroll, Equity Administration, and Sales Commissions
  • Drive strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement governance across major spend categories, with full ownership of the P2P technology stack
  • Oversee accurate and compliant global payroll operations across all jurisdictions, partnering closely with Human Resources, Treasury and Accounting
  • Own all equity plan administration and regulatory compliance, serving as the organization's internal expert
  • Serve as a key financial operations partner to executive leadership, support SEC disclosures, board reporting, and financial strategy across all functional areas
  • Maintain a strong SOX control environment and serve as the primary audit liaison across Financial Operations processes
  • Champion AI-driven automation and process transformation while developing high-performing teams and partnering broadly across Finance, Legal, People, IT, and Sales
  • Champion, role model, and embed the organization’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as the organization scales globally and across new offices
  • Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team

Minimum requirements for the role

  • 12+ years of experience in financial operations, with meaningful depth across Source to Pay and/or Compensation Operations
  • Demonstrated experience leading multi-functional teams spanning diverse operational functions
  • Experience operating in a SOX-compliant public company environment, including designing and maintaining controls and serving as a liaison to internal and external auditors
  • Experience owning enterprise-level systems across S2P and/or Compensation Operations (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Workday, ADP, Schwab/Computershare, CaptivateIQ, or Xactly)
  • A track record of driving large-scale process transformation (people, process, and systems) with measurable business outcomes
  • Familiarity with AI and automation tools applied to financial operations use cases such as anomaly detection, commission validation, or employee self-service
  • Strong executive presence and experience influencing VP- and C-level stakeholders on complex financial and compensation topics

Pay

The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is $153,160—$273,500 USD. This role is also eligible for an initial RSU grant with no vesting cliff, and ongoing refresh opportunities tied to performance, subject to plan terms and conditions.

Total Rewards

The compensation program delivers above-market total compensation through a combination of base salary, performance-based bonus/variable pay, and equity (for eligible roles) in a high-growth public company. The organization meaningfully differentiates pay for top performers, who have the opportunity to earn above-market compensation that can outpace the broader market over time. Beyond compensation, the organization provides the foundations that enable long-term success: a flexible, employee-led remote model, a professional development stipend, comprehensive health and parental leave plans, and more.

Flexible Working

The organization embraces a flexible working model that caters to the diverse needs of its teams. Offices are open for those who prefer to work in-person and remote work is supported where it aligns with operational requirements. For certain positions, being close to one of the offices or within a specific geographic area is important to facilitate collaboration, access to resources, or alignment with service regions.

Belonging

The organization welcomes everyone regardless of their background. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, and other characteristics protected by law. The organization depends on the unique approaches of its team members to help solve complex problems and wants to ensure that the organization is a place where people from all backgrounds can make an impact.
