About the role

This position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and reports to the ET&S VP of Finance. It seeks an experienced Senior Director, Finance Business Partner – John Zink.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic partnerships across the organization to align priorities, improve decision making, drive action, and hold others accountable for outcomes
  • Partner with the broader finance and accounting organization to provide financial domain expertise
  • Understand and be able to effectively articulate business objectives, insights and market drivers
  • Drive application of PBM frameworks, dimensions, principles, economic tools (marginal analysis, DMF, opportunity cost, risk optimization, etc.), and key financial metrics (EVA, NPV, ROCC, NIAT, etc.) to improve decision making and results throughout the business
  • Model and accelerate AI adoption on the leadership team by using AI visibly, sharing wins across the business, protecting experimentation time, surfacing friction points (policy, access, data, process), and partnering with Finance & Accounting, IT, and business leaders to strengthen data foundations, governance, and MDM readiness for priority use cases

Requirements

  • Experience in business analysis, finance, accounting, commercial development, business strategy, sales, procurement, planning, engineering, manufacturing, or other business capability roles that include responsibility for improving business financial performance
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives as well as partnering with senior leaders in a business team environment to communicate business strategy, articulate economic value of alternative options, and/or seek investment authority from senior leadership
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tell a clear story with effective charts and graphs for audiences at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to apply AI in high-impact ways, turning use cases into business value and using enterprise AI tools effectively and responsibly in finance, including prompt structuring, output verification, and hallucination detection

Qualifications

  • Industry experience in discrete manufacturing, custom engineering, and/or long-lead-time engineered-to-order industrial equipment
  • Experience leading AI-enabled process redesign or building AI-assisted decision tools for forecasting, variance analysis, quoting, or reporting in a business-partnering context
  • Experience building three-statement financial models
  • Applicable experience in business capabilities outside of Finance & Accounting
  • Experience driving change management and data governance readiness to scale AI adoption across a finance organization
