Director, Finance Business Partner
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with Product, AI and Technology leadership to translate strategic priorities into financial plans and execution roadmaps
- Support decision-making across product development, platform investments, and resource allocation
- Lead financial planning processes (annual budget, quarterly forecasts, strategic planning)
- Ensure alignment between product roadmaps, technology initiatives, and financial commitments
- Provide visibility into engineering, platform, and infrastructure cost drivers
- Support expense management, tracking, and optimization across technology investments
- Drive financial discipline while enabling innovation and delivery
- Support evaluation and prioritization of product and technology investments
- Develop and review business cases to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and return expectations
- Partner with Product teams to manage financial performance across product portfolios
- Provide insights into cost-to-build, cost-to-serve, and investment trade-offs
- Define and track key metrics related to spend, efficiency, utilization, and product performance
- Deliver actionable insights to improve financial and operational outcomes
- Partner across various business units to ensure delivery against plans
- Support execution tracking and identification of risks and opportunities
- Prepare clear, concise financial updates and insights for leadership
- Support storytelling that links financial performance to business strategy
Experience & Education
- Strong experience in FP&A, finance business partnering, or investment analysis
- Solid understanding of technology cost structures and product development cycles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Effective communicator with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- 7–10+ years of experience in finance, strategy, or related roles
- Experience in technology, fintech, or services environments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus

Miami, Florida: $142,000 - $234,000 USD
New York City, New York: $170,000 - $281,000 USD
