Senior Director Finance
About the role
This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the Senior Vice President / General Manager of the Division and serving as a key strategic partner to the divisional leadership team. The Senior Director of Finance will provide financial leadership across the division, helping guide strategy, drive operational performance, and ensure the organization delivers on growth and profitability objectives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Strategic Finance Leader
- Partner closely with the Senior Vice President / General Manager and divisional leadership team to provide insight into the financial impact of key business decisions and help guide data-driven strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor across the organization, influencing cross-functional leaders and contributing to business planning and execution.
- Lead Financial Planning, Reporting & Performance Management
- Oversee all divisional FP&A activities, delivering accurate and timely financial reporting and executive-level insights on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Own the annual budgeting process, partnering with divisional leaders and plant controllers to establish aligned financial targets.
- Direct the monthly forecasting process and ensure timely consolidation and reporting to corporate leadership.
- Lead the monthly close process and facilitate financial operating reviews with executive leadership.
- Drive Strategic Planning and Business Initiatives
- Lead and actively contribute to the strategic planning process, partnering with Product Management, Commercial, Engineering, and Operations teams to align priorities.
- Oversee development of long-term financial projections and prepare materials for executive leadership review.
- Serve as the lead financial partner on key initiatives such as pricing strategy, footprint optimization, operational performance improvements, and market share growth.
- Build and Develop a High-Performing Finance Team
- Lead and develop a global finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous development.
- Cook and mentor team members while strengthening engagement and capability across the finance organization.
- Promote strong cross-functional relationships and effective communication throughout the division.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA and/or CPA strongly preferred.
- Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership of global financial P&L responsibilities.
- Experience within multi-site manufacturing or industrial environments strongly preferred.
- Background in public accounting and/or manufacturing finance, with expertise in financial reporting, compliance, and managing P&L drivers to deliver profitable growth.
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear and compelling insights to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead initiatives beyond direct authority.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business improvement.
- Proven success building and developing high-performing teams through coaching, engagement, and talent development.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems; experience with systems such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, or OneStream is highly valued.

Pay
$220K - $260K including 20-25% Target Bonus. LTI included as well.
Schedule
Location: Hybrid out of Milwaukee, WI
Travel: Up to 25%, including occasional international travel
