Senior Director - Experienced Advisor Acquisition
About the role
The Senior Director, Experienced Advisor Acquisition provides strategic leadership for the firm’s advisor and client-facing talent attraction efforts, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality, growth-oriented professionals aligned with firm values and long-term objectives. This role partners closely with senior leadership, Finance, Business HR, and field leadership to anticipate workforce needs, build proactive pipelines, and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive experienced advisor recruitment strategy aligned with enterprise growth goals and workforce planning priorities.
- Partner with senior business, field, and business HR leaders to anticipate advisor and client-facing talent needs and build scalable, proactive pipelines.
- Lead and mentor a large team of talent acquisition professionals promoting accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting for experienced financial advisors and related client-facing roles, ensuring quality, compliance, and speed-to-fill.
- Lead higher-touch senior and executive search processes for senior advisors, field leadership, and executive roles, including confidential searches.
- Establish clear protocols for internal recruiting versus external search firm engagement, negotiating and managing vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective delivery.
- Ensure a world-class candidate experience across sourcing, interviewing, offer, and onboarding phases.
- Owning and continuously improving recruiting processes, stakeholder communication practices, and feedback loops with hiring managers and candidates.
- Drive the implementation, optimization, and effective use of Greenhouse ATS, including workflow design, training, reporting, and data integrity.
- Establish and monitor recruiting metrics and dashboards to drive data-informed decision-making and long-term quality-of-hire outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including experience with:
- Talent acquisition strategy and workforce planning
- Experienced advisor and professional services recruiting models
- Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting analytics
- Employment law and recruiting compliance requirements
Qualifications
People Leaders are expected to maintain strong leadership visibility, collaboration, and connection across the firm. For People Leaders who choose to reside outside a commutable distance from a campus location, the role requires regular travel to support these expectations. This role will require presence at a home office campus, or other firm-related travel, for one full week per month.

Pay
Compensation provided for using, not obtaining, the rating.
Schedule
This role will require presence at a home office campus, or other firm-related travel, for one full week per month. For travel purposes, a "full week" is defined as a minimum of four consecutive days on campus. Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
