Qualifications
- 10+ years in integrated comms or planning role in media, creative, innovation or communications discipline (digital, content, invention, social, activation)
- 5+ years of previous experience managing and leading integrated teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate persuasive and cohesive presentations and points-of-view that ultimately close the sale
- Knowledge and understanding of client business/current issues and marketplace trends/emerging trends
- Track record of strength in business development and financial account growth
- Demonstrated experience with Consumer Research and Tracking data both quantitative and qualitative
- In-depth experience with integrated marketing programs including strategic development, analysis and implementation
- Relationship builder, with a demonstrated strong written communication, project management, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment to meet deadlines
- Creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial spirit
Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent client relationships & understand the clients' key business and challenges
- Deliver innovative thinking that inspires leading edge solutions and award-winning breakthrough work - best in class work as standard (internally & externally)
- Arming the client team with knowledge & expertise to speak confidently about the strategic direction where required
- Identify, develop & oversee the delivery of unique and innovative strategies to deliver the client’s desired results
- Translate complex client asks and deliverables into simple and cohesive stories that are easy to digest and sells our thinking in the best light possible
- Clearly demonstrate how the strategy delivers on the business need and focus on results and measurement
- Bring fresh thinking & inspiration into the Strategic Process to help the teams springboard to better Strategic thinking
- Write cohesive communications architectures that deliver on the platform/ rally cry and give guidance for how the brand will behave in the world
- Train, guide & assist the Strategy & Client teams in development and packaging of ideas
- Positively collaborate with IAT and independent creative partners, contributing to their/our client work
- Use qualitative and quantitative comms channel & cultural tool research to develop applicable insights into the consumer connection with the brand
- Lead ideation team sessions in conjunction with the planning team and relevant disciplines to generate creative & compelling communications ideas
- Contribute to new business success (local market) Participation in new business as required, leading Strategy
- Identify and contribute to new ways to grow organic client business by upselling and cross-selling agency product
Pay
California: $120,000.00-$230,000.00
Schedule
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
