About the role

A leading global IT solutions provider with over 35 years of success in the U.S. market is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Director of ERP Solutions to elevate and expand its ERP practice. The company delivers comprehensive services across IT consulting, digital transformation, cloud/network/security architecture, IT outsourcing, and next-generation technologies such as AI, IoT, and advanced analytics.

The Senior Director, ERP Solutions will lead the ERP delivery organization, transforming a legacy support structure into a modern, scalable, and efficient delivery model capable of supporting new ERP projects and clients nationwide. This executive-level leader will oversee multiple concurrent ERP development and implementation projects, ensuring top-tier quality, on-time delivery, and operational excellence. The role works closely with the ERP Sales leadership team to align business development and delivery execution, maximizing client satisfaction and accelerating business growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full development, implementation, and delivery of ERP projects and services.
• Transform the current ERP support structure into a high-performance, scalable organization.
• Lead multiple ERP development initiatives simultaneously, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
• Partner with ERP Sales leadership to align pipeline, delivery strategy, and resource planning.
• Drive operational excellence through effective processes, tools, and team structures.
• Manage resource allocation, scheduling, and project staffing, including internal teams and external vendors/partners.
• Develop annual business plans, budgets, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Build and maintain strategic, long-term client and partner relationships.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to managers, engineers, and technical staff.
• Support pre-sales by preparing proposals, presentations, and delivery plans.
• Lead HR-related functions within the ERP division, including hiring, evaluations, salary review, and organizational restructuring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven management experience leading a business division or large technical team, including budgeting and performance management.
• Strong ERP domain expertise — SAP preferred, but Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics is also acceptable.
• Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent ERP projects with full QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) responsibility.
• Experience in organizational transformation, delivery model upgrades, or ERP practice expansion.
• Strong project and resource management skills, including vendor and partner coordination.
• Business acumen with the ability to create and execute strategies, budgets, and performance reports.
• Experience managing stakeholders at the executive level.
• Understanding of ERP architecture, software development, and system integration.
• Experience preparing proposals, presentations, and supporting pre-sales engagements.
• Hands-on experience with HR functions such as hiring, performance evaluation, and organizational design.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification required.
• SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) strongly preferred.
• Additional ERP or IT leadership certifications are a plus.

Pay

New York: $150,000 – $200,000

Texas: $125,000 – $165,000

Starting compensation depends on factors including experience, education, training, and overall qualifications.
