Responsibilities
- Identify and select EPCs based on current and future business needs
- Negotiate costs, performance, and terms with EPCs
- Implement cost reduction methodologies and feedback mechanisms
- Build partnerships with EPCs and explore new business opportunities
- Manage the supply base to meet business schedule and technology needs
- Communicate design, safety, and quality requirements to EPC suppliers
- Drive efficiencies and transition team focus to high-value activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required
- 15+ years in a senior procurement role in heavy industry
- Proven success managing EPCs in the Energy Sector
- Techical expertise for identifying and qualifying EPCs
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on cost targets
- Ability to manage international construction activities
- Analytical mindset with strong technical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Self-motivated with a high energy level
