About the Role

Hubbell is seeking a Senior Director of Digital Marketing to lead global strategy across eCommerce, web, social media, and marketing technology platforms. This role will develop and implement digital marketing strategies that meet or exceed Hubbell’s business objectives, ensuring every component of our digital properties is bold, innovative, and drives measurable engagement from a user-centered perspective. The Director will lead a global team handling eCommerce enablement, web marketing, social media, and marketing technology platforms, with a passion for leveraging B2B digital technology to build strong organizational marketing capabilities.

We are seeking candidates located in Farmington, CT, Greenville, SC, or St. Louis, MO.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and cast a vision for Hubbell’s digital marketing organization.
  • Develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and enable a global digital marketing team delivering eCommerce, web marketing, social media, and marketing technology solutions.
  • Oversee the ongoing global digital strategy, maintenance, and improvement of design and functionality for all Hubbell digital properties, tools, and applications.
  • Develop strategies to drive traffic to Hubbell.com and affiliate websites to grow revenue.
  • Ensure appropriate enterprise-wide marketing technology platforms (DAM, PIM, CRM, marketing automation) are in place to monitor performance and track results.
  • Collaborate with marketing disciplines, IT, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders to drive key enterprise initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to select best-in-class third-party vendors and manage key vendor relationships.
  • Establish, champion, and disseminate interactive reporting on all digital marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 years of related experience; or equivalent education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, information technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience managing corporate web properties and assets within a large matrix organization.
  • Experience managing and building geographically dispersed teams.
  • Experience with eCommerce program implementation and management.
  • Proven ability to build, coach, motivate, and inspire a high-performing, diverse team.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all levels, including executive and C-level.
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a result-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical and/or utility industry background.
  • Collaborative and innovative spirit with a strong desire to continually improve and expand enterprise capabilities.
