Senior Director - Data Platforms & Architecture

About the role

Lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. Partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. Strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within the Energy & Utilities environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial performance of practice area
• Ensure client project success through team engagement
• Coach delivery teams and provide feedback to managers
• Manage team capacity and capabilities with HR
• Deliver clear resources for team learning
• Review and approve project plans with principal architects
• Optimize project staffing for client satisfaction
• Drive technical excellence and address escalations
• Enhance client experiences with special engagements
• Collaborate on Service Delivery Frameworks for consistency
• Develop technology strategy and delivery patterns
• Promote client success and celebrate achievements
• Support innovation roadmap and integration to engineering
• Lead quarterly briefings on project insights and recommendations

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of tech business leadership in consultancy
• Expertise in modern data engineering, especially Azure
• Broad experience in data and analytics delivery areas
• Deep knowledge of industry best practices
• Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders
• Experience managing data teams and processes
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay

$183,400 – $275,100 annually
