Senior Director, Contracting & Network Development

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Contracting & Network Development to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This leader will oversee contracting strategy and network development efforts that support market growth and operational effectiveness across healthcare markets. The role will partner closely with business development and cross-functional teams to build and expand provider networks while ensuring contract structures align with business objectives and budget requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong negotiation expertise, market insight, and the ability to guide new market launches with a focus on quality and performance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $134,600 – $249,000 annually Responsibilities Oversee contracting activities for network development and enhancement Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors and other external partners Develop strategies for new network formation in collaboration with business development Assemble and manage cross-functional teams for network development Ensure budget alignment with network management objectives Support new business launches in diverse markets while considering local factors Monitor performance and address process quality gaps Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience 7+ years of contracting or healthcare operations experience Experience with market establishment and strategic oversight Proven track record in managing provider contracts Strong negotiation skills with complex contracts Benefits Comprehensive health insurance 401K and stock purchase plans Tuition reimbursement for professional development Paid time off including holidays Flexible working conditions with options for remote, hybrid, or office work Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
