Senior Director, Community

Location: San Francisco, CA – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $247,000 – $302,000 annually

This role will lead operational priorities focused on execution quality, efficiency, safety, and measurable performance outcomes. You will collaborate with field leadership, support functions, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve accountability, service delivery, and operational consistency. The position offers the opportunity to influence operational scale, customer outcomes, and organizational performance within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement a long-term strategy for the company’s researcher community aligning it with business objectives
• Manage product strategy and profitability for the Live Hacking Events, balancing customer needs with researcher economics
• Oversee end-to-end technical delivery of live hacking engagements for enterprise customers
• Segment and manage community and event portfolios to customize delivery and strengthen senior customer relationships
• Set and achieve goals for researcher growth tied to product line needs, focusing on attraction, development, and retention
• Integrate AI principles into community operations and event experiences for scalable delivery and efficiency
• Lead the Hacker Success and Community Events teams, fostering leadership and organizational capacity

Qualifications

• 12+ years in security/bug bounty, professional services, customer management, and community leadership, preferably with management experience
• Direct experience in security, professional services, or bug bounty to lead technical delivery
• Proven track record of ownership for a product line or P&L, ensuring profitability and growth
• Experience managing complex customer delivery for global enterprise accounts
• Demonstrated ability to create growth strategies with measurable business impact
