Summary Of Responsibilities

The Senior Director, Experiential Revenue and Operations is responsible for leading a cross-functional process to set the strategy and deliver the organization’s long-term commercial vision by reinventing our experiential value proposition, creating new commercial assets, developing sales strategies and financial models, and delivering solutions for both fan and stakeholder engagement.

This new position will focus on creating a commercial framework and revenue strategy to monetize our current experiential portfolio while also developing new go-to-market assets and strategies to meet the emerging needs of fans and Olympic and Paralympic stakeholders (i.e. NGB’s, Donors, Athletes, Alumni).

  • Create marquis experiential platforms and drive integrated monetization strategies across media, digital, broadcast and direct-to-consumer initiatives
  • Lead the experiential budget team and establish all P&Ls across the portfolio
  • Build and maintain relationships with key cross-organizational stakeholders to understand the nuances of how experiential can uniquely drive their businesses
  • Create compelling value propositions across all experiences for key audiences (athletes, alumni, donors, fans, NGBs)
  • Develop a flame-to-flame ticketing and hospitality strategy and process for the organization to seamlessly leverage Market Intelligence & Analysis
  • Identify new revenue streams, expansion opportunities and new product offerings
  • Conduct financial modeling in partnership with finance for investment opportunities
  • Lead measurement and KPI reporting for the experiential portfolio

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Media, Sport Management or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in sports marketing, sports commercial strategy, experiential marketing, ticketing and hospitality
  • Strong understanding of the sports landscape, nuances and current trends
  • Experience leading and managing large agency teams
  • Proven ability to deliver white-glove hospitality and client entertainment programs
  • Familiarity with delivering ticketing programs at scale
  • Excellent financial modeling, budgeting and contract negotiation skills
  • Strategic commercial leadership

Additional Information

  • Hiring pay range: $165,000 - $175,000 per year
  • This Full-Time, Exempt position is intended to work 40 hours per week
  • Bonus: This position will be eligible for the Annual Incentive Award Program, which has a 20% target
  • The USOPC may change or eliminate this program at any time at its sole discretion
  • Benefits: This position will be eligible for USOPC benefits
