About the role
The Senior Director Clinical Pharmacy serves as a professionally competent, legally qualified pharmacist overseeing and managing the pharmacy services within the region. They assist the Regional Executive Pharmacy Director in strategic planning, operational oversight, and continuous improvement of pharmacy services.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient safety and medication efficacy.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Manage staff performance and professional development to meet organizational goals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Certified California Pharmacist Registered.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant pharmacy experience.
- Minimum 3 years of management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- PharmD in Pharmacy or equivalent education/experience.
- Masters Degree in MPH; MBA or equivalent education/experience.
