Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Caidya clinical development strategies for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development on potential new opportunities.
  • Absorb and assist in the identification of new clients, attend meetings with potential new clients.
  • Participate in the planning for and attend industry conferences and scientific meetings.
  • Collaborates with Business Development and operational leadership on strategy in proposals and bid defense meetings.
  • Contributes to slide development and delivery strategy.
  • Contributes to and reviews proposal and budget input and content.
  • Provides comments and suggested edits/text as needed.
  • Key point of contact, point of issue escalation and interface with client company(s) to lead relationship management, clinical strategy support, and if applicable leading and presenting clinical development strategies to governing bodies and oversight committees.
  • Serve as executive oversight for assigned clients.
  • Cook up and lead client governance as required.
  • Represent Caidya to the customer, ensuring satisfaction levels are maintained and deliverables are communicated effectively.
  • Accountable for the financial and operational health of all studies within the assigned portfolio of work.
  • Proactively identify and contribute to the management of issues at a study and portfolio level.
  • Contribute the development of contingency planning and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support operational excellence by identifying best practices, participating in Project Review Meetings, and by making recommendations to senior management.
  • Contributes to and leads Caidya internal strategies to drive new business and client relationships.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of these units including resource planning, recruiting, performance management, training and development, work prioritization, resource allocation, and delegation.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience: At least 10+ years industry, 5+ years CRO.
  • Strong background in clinical research, commercial and operational expertise.
  • Strong skills set in study design and both pre- and post- planning and execution.
