About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director Capital Management to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead management of consolidated balance sheets including financial leverage and capital position
- Develop and oversee capital structure and allocation analysis with forecasting
- Advise management on capital returns, issuances, and optimization strategies
- Provide oversight for capital management reporting and analytics
- Monitor adherence to policies across business units
- Deliver capital management reporting to executive and board stakeholders
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial objectives
- Guide analytical support for planning and performance review processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, actuarial science, business, or related field
- 12+ years in capital management or balance sheet management within insurance or financial services
- Advanced knowledge of capital frameworks and capital instruments
- Strong understanding of regulatory capital requirements and U.S. statutory accounting
- Experience presenting financial analysis to senior leadership
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and capital analytics tools
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems

Compensation: $290,000 – $320,000 annually
