Senior Director, Business Operations - Hyperscale & AI Sales

Responsibilities
- Operationalize and synchronize cross-functional planning, alignment, and joint outcomes.
- Orchestrate strategic alignment across Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, Business Units, and CX to compress deal cycle time and eliminate friction from conception through approval.
- Optimize business constructs to accelerate deal approval; lead large deal creation and approval processes.
- Lead the overall strategy and execution of GTM in hyperscale.
- Ensure the pre-sales to post-sales lifecycle meets hyperscaler needs.
- Drive long-range market planning and analysis, portfolio alignment, and account penetration strategy.
- Lead change management initiatives that translate strategic shifts into operational reality.
- Translate customer requirements into execution through focused Technical Program Management.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Strategic Planning, Sales Finance, Business Operations, or Supply Chain within the technology sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- Direct experience within a sales organization or sales process (not purely strategy), including exposure to working with customers and closing deals.
- Demonstrated success navigating large, complex deals with strategic enterprise customers.
- Proven track record of leading through influence, building positive relationships with cross-functional teams, executives, and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Deep understanding of the Hyperscaler market, selling motions, and customer base.
- Supply chain experience and an understanding of how it intersects with large-deal execution.
- Familiarity navigating legal/contract processes as part of large, complex deal cycles.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business processes, formulate strategic recommendations, and operationalize execution.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills; capable of influencing at all levels, both internally and externally.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $266,800.00 to $337,900.00 for new hires in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training.
For certain locations, the full salary range is listed below:
- New York City Metro Area: $266,800.00 - $388,600.00
- Non-Metro New York State & Washington State: $237,300.00 - $345,800.00
For quota-based sales roles, the ranges provided include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined.

- Non-exempt employees receive 16 days of paid vacation time per full calendar year, accrued at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period.
- Exempt employees participate in Cisco’s flexible vacation time off program with no defined limit (subject to availability and business limitations).
- 80 hours of sick time off provided on hire date and each January 1st thereafter, with up to 80 hours of unused sick time carried forward.
- Additional paid time away may be requested for critical or emergency family issues.
- Optional 10 paid days per full calendar year to volunteer.
- Eligibility to earn annual bonuses (for non-sales roles) or performance-based incentive pay (for sales roles), subject to Cisco’s policies.
