Job Responsibilities
- Define and execute the strategic roadmap for analog IC design, aligning with overall product and technology objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of analog design engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Oversee the complete analog design lifecycle, from concept and architectural definition to detailed design, simulation, layout, verification, and silicon validation.
- Drive the selection and implementation of appropriate analog design methodologies, tools, and best practices to optimize design efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including systems engineering, digital design, product engineering, and operations to ensure seamless product integration and successful production.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality analog designs.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in analog design, incorporating relevant advancements into future product developments.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and academic institutions to leverage external expertise and resources.
- Provide technical guidance and critical design reviews for complex analog circuit blocks.
- Contribute to intellectual property generation through patent disclosures and publications.
Job Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in analog IC design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven expertise in designing and bringing to production complex analog circuits for high-speed optical transceivers, laser drivers, or similar high-performance analog applications.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics, analog circuit topologies (e.g., ADCs, DACs, PLLs, TIAs, high-speed interfaces), and their practical implementation.
- Extensive experience with industry-standard EDA tools for schematic capture, simulation (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, Hspice), and layout.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large, diverse engineering teams.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex analog designs on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with silicon validation, characterization, and production test methodologies.
- Experience with process technology selection and managing foundry relationships is a plus.
Pay Range
P95-USA-1 :$187,450.00 - $267,750.00
