Senior Digital Product Owner - Ecommerce
About the role
The Product Owner is a key role within Humana's brokerage business, specifically within the Digital organization. This role is crucial in advancing the industry through innovative digital capabilities for the eCommerce website, focusing on driving customer acquisition and improving the Medicare Advantage experience.
Responsibilities
- Drive the ecommerce website’s product vision, roadmap, and backlog, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
- Partner with Engineering, Design, Content, and other Product stakeholders to define the vision for this specific team.
- Create a product roadmap based on the aligned vision.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize it based on changing requirements.
- Define and prioritize epics, features, and user stories (grooming and refining them) with clear acceptance criteria, prioritizing user needs and conversion-driving experiences.
- Work with the UX/Design team to ensure user-centered designs and experiences are created.
- Maintain and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process to report on status and ensure timely delivery.
- Participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.
- Establish and review key performance metrics on a regular cadence to ensure the digital experience is performing at an optimal level and identify areas for improvement.
- Partner with the analytics team.
- Perform user acceptance testing and accept user stories before releasing to ensure the final product meets all requirements defined in the acceptance criteria.
- Continuously develop A/B tests to drive learning and ensure the best possible, data-informed, user experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product, with direct experience as a Product Owner, including:
- Owning, prioritizing, and managing a backlog.
- Writing and refining clear user stories.
- Working with Design, Content, and Development to bring these experiences alive.
- Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- 3+ years of experience managing eCommerce websites.
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- An analytical and metrics-driven work style, with direct experience working with eCommerce analytics tools (Adobe, Google, others) and KPIs.
- An entrepreneurial work style, comfortable in a startup environment.
- Deep user empathy and strong user experience sensibility.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Natural leadership instincts with proven ability to innovate and influence.
Qualifications
- Healthcare eCommerce experience preferred.
- Work from home requirements: Requires a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps, with a suggested wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection.
- Travel: Occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.
- Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week.
