The Role

You’re a highly experienced Senior Digital Producer — equal parts operator, strategist, and client partner. You bring structure to complexity, confidently leading multidisciplinary teams through ambitious digital engagements. You understand the realities of building digital products and experiences, and know how to balance client expectations, team needs, budgets, timelines, and creative ambition.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of web and app projects — from scoping and planning through launch and optimization. You create clarity from ambiguity, structuring projects in ways that enable teams to produce their best work while delivering strong creative and commercial outcomes.
  • Partner with leadership on pitches, proposals, and business development opportunities. You can confidently position Koto’s digital expertise to brand clients, new business leads, and digital-first founders alike.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams — advocating for both while communicating clearly, proactively, and confidently across every stage of a project.
  • Champion delivery excellence across the studio, refining processes and ways of working to support exceptional outcomes. You know when to apply agile, waterfall, or hybrid approaches depending on the needs of the engagement.
  • Own project resourcing and forecasting in close partnership with our Senior Resource Manager and leadership team. You anticipate future needs, identify risks early, and help ensure teams are set up for success.
  • Take ownership of projects — including budgets, scopes, timelines, and change requests. You negotiate confidently, keep projects on track, and navigate challenging moments with calm and clarity.
  • Report proactively on budgets, timelines, KPIs, and project health — ensuring leadership and finance teams have visibility into performance, risks, and opportunities. Play an active role in supporting broader studio and monthly goals.
  • Think holistically about digital experiences. You understand how brand, strategy, UX, content, and technology intersect, helping teams translate ambitious ideas into thoughtful, effective, and beautifully executed digital products.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and evolution of Koto’s digital practice — helping shape tools, processes, and delivery approaches as the studio expands its digital capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in digital production, design, or related field.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to launch.
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile technologies, UX/UI principles, and user-centered design.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Benefits

  • Regular access to manager and team leads for development and career support.
  • Annual salary range: $115,000 - $130,000.
  • Discretionary annual bonus of up to 10% based on performance.
  • Inclusive and equitable workplace with commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including:
    • Significant paid maternity and paternity leave.
    • 25 vacation days annually, 10+ U.S. holidays, and a full studio closure between Christmas and New Year.
    • 401(k) with a 4% company match.
    • Monthly wellness stipend through Juno.
    • Access to YCN and funding for relevant training and development opportunities.
    • $5,000 and five extra days off at five years, and $10,000 and four weeks off at ten years.
    • Work-from-anywhere opportunities across our five global studios, with advanced planning.

Culture

  • Rationally optimistic approach to work, clients, businesses, and the power of brand.
  • Pursuit of the best briefs, desire to inspire meaningful work, and opportunities for leadership, culture, and spaces.
  • Hybrid work model with an optional WFH day on Friday and additional 2 weeks of remote work per year.
  • Autonomy for team members to manage their time, hours, and personal commitments.
