Senior Digital Designer

About the role

Manyone's New York team is looking for a Senior Digital Designer who thinks like a strategist and designs like a craftsperson. You'll work end-to-end — from research and concept through high-fidelity design and hand-off — on digital experiences for U.S.-based and global clients, alongside strategists, technologists, and designers across our offices in the U.S. and Europe. We're a strategy-design hybrid. Our designers don't wait for a brief to land; they sit in the room where the problem gets framed, shape the answer with the client, and then make it real. If you want to own the work from 'why' to 'shipped,' this is the role.

Responsibilities

• Own digital design from discovery to delivery: research, concepting, user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and hand-off to developers
• Have your own client relationships — lead the conversation with your team, and bring the client along with the work
• Translate business goals and user needs into clear, scalable digital experiences across web, mobile, and emerging surfaces (XR, AI-driven and physical-digital)
• Build and extend design systems that carry a brand consistently across products
• Plan and facilitate workshops with clients, users and cross-functional teams
• Collaborate daily with Manyone colleagues across disciplines and offices
• Bring new tools, patterns and technologies into our practice as they mature

Requirements

• 5+ years in digital, UX/UI or interaction design, with shipped work on web and mobile
• A portfolio that shows strong visual craft, clear problem-solving and thoughtful interaction design
• Comfort working ahead of the brief — framing problems, pressure-testing strategy, and defending design decisions in business terms
• Experience leading client conversations and presenting to senior stakeholders
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools; hands-on experience with design systems
• Excited and experienced utilizing and exploring new (AI) tools
• Experience working directly with developers through implementation
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Able to be at our Dumbo studio three days a week

• Motion design
• AI-driven or XR experience
• Consultancy or agency experience with multiple clients in parallel
