What You'll Do
- Accountable for punctual attendance in meetings, meaningful contributions, and proactive communication of strategic directives or issue resolutions to both DC management and project teams.
- Establish and manage DC scope and associated schedule and cost expectations, staffing projections, billing rates, risk mitigation, QC and continuous support to ensure comprehensive success of scope per established expectations.
- Manage the performance and development of Digital Construction (DC) team members on your assigned projects through regular check-ins, learning and development, task delegation and quality control.
- Take leading role in review and apply project documentation, while coordinating, modeling, and producing deliverables in line with DC best practices and management expectations and proactive partnership and communication with project team.
- Offer on-site coordination using advanced tools and employ a variety of BIM applications, ensuring alignment with DC systems and quality standard.
- Participate in bi-weekly business development meetings for assigned regions, manage marketing assets to promote objectives, and proactively address inquiries with solution-driven approaches, consulting with the DC Manager prior to submission.
- Ensure DC team culture is maintained as a place for learning, innovation, diversity of ideas and merit-based advancement.
- Provide leading technical role in development, testing and implementation of various R&D objectives.
- Maintain accurate projections, time coding, and other administrative DC systems for yourself and team members.
- Take a leading role in the assignment, tracking, and implementation of training for new and existing assigned DC team members, ensuring proficiency in systems through effective onboarding and continued training development.
What You Need to Succeed
- 5+ years’ experience in residential design and/or construction
- 2+ years of experience delegating tasks to a team
- 5+ years of Revit use in a professional setting
- 2+ years of Rhino experience
- 1+ year experience with Grasshopper, Dynamo or Python scripting languages and processes
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Microsoft Suite
