Construction Project Engineer

About the role

Responsible for designing, supervising, and implementing heavy civil construction projects including underground utilities. Works closely with clients to understand project requirements and ensures compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed plans and specifications for construction projects
• Supervise construction teams in the execution of projects
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations and resolve issues
• Manage project timelines and budgets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in heavy civil construction
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
