About the role

Aircraft Mechanics at Amentum are responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft components, ensuring they are safe and operational. This includes working on various aircraft systems such as power plants, ordnance, and other critical systems. All positions require a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Security clearance
• Experience in heavy equipment mechanics or related field
• Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and regulations

• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to aircraft maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

• $118,203 per year for Aircraft Mechanic - Power Plant - VMG with Security Clearance
• $150,266 per year for Aircraft Mechanic EGRESS - NAWDC GT with Security Clearance
• $71,678 per year for Aircraft Mechanic Ordnance - VMG with Security Clearance
• $90,728 per year for Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic
• $138,153 per year for Aircraft Mechanic - AME - VMG with Security Clearance
