Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform maintenance on heavy equipment and diesel engines.
• Ensure all vehicles are in compliance with security clearance requirements.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Train and mentor other mechanics as needed.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mechanic.
• Security clearance required for some positions.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of heavy machinery.
• Knowledge of diesel engine operation and repair.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid California Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and heavy machinery.
• Experience with heavy equipment diagnostics and repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Pay

• $97,328 per year for Expeditionary Tactical & Heavy Equipment Mechanic with Security Clearance.
• $132,817 per year for Senior Diesel and Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
• $73,298 per year for Mobile Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mechanic with Security Clearance.
• $60,085 per year for Automotive Mechanic with Security Clearance.
