Senior DevSecOps Software Engineer

About the role
This position will focus on developing automation, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and DevSecOps to support the next generation of technologies in radar, surveillance, and communication systems. Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to issue a Secret Clearance, which includes US Citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for embedded systems
- Integrate DevSecOps tools to automate security checks and vulnerability assessments within the CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, operations, and product teams, to ensure security and automation is embedded in all phases of the application lifecycle
- Document and maintain CI/CD workflows and automation
- Provide training and guidance to teams on CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CI/CD processes, tools, and automation
- Develop infrastructure to automate unit test, component test, and system verification testing
- Foster a continuous improvement culture
- Generate schedule inputs for cost/schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- 10+ years of related experience
- 3+ years of experience with Development Operations (DevOps)
- 3+ years of experience with scripting programming languages such as Python or similar
- Experience deploying CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation on-prem infrastructure
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Git Bash, Jira, and Artifactory is a plus)
- Experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, etc.) and automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, etc.)
- Experience in supporting real-time embedded systems is a plus
- Experience with full software development life cycle
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $122,655 - $215,704.
An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shifts may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
