Senior DevOps Programmer

Location: Downey, CA - Hybrid
Duration: Contract role - 12+ months
Pay Rate Range: $50-$55/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and ArgoCD.
• Develop automation and operational scripts using Python, Bash, Shell, or similar scripting languages.
• Support Linux/Unix and Windows environments, including system administration, infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, and troubleshooting.
• Support ERP applications, including CGI Advantage on Oracle databases, and IBM WebSphere/InfoSphere installation, patching, and SSL certificate management.
• Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Rancher, batch scheduling with Control-M, secure file transfers, monitoring with Splunk, and enterprise integrations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming, including 4+ years in a lead capacity.
• 4+ years of recent experience with CI/CD pipelines, Python/Shell/Bash scripting, Jenkins, GitHub, and ArgoCD.
• 3+ years of recent experience with Kubernetes, Rancher, container orchestration, and batch scheduling tools such as Control-M.
• Experience supporting ERP applications, CGI Advantage 3.11/4.x on Oracle, IBM WebSphere/InfoSphere, and Linux/Unix administration.
