Senior DevOps Engineer (Top Secret Clearance)

About the role

We are seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to lead the Federal Customer Success team and advise our clients. This role requires expertise in installing, operating, and scaling the Appian platform, as well as administering and scaling business process applications. The ideal candidate combines Appian technical, product, and business skills to support client success.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer interaction (verbal, written, face-to-face)
• Systems administration (Linux, Windows)
• Experience with IaaS solutions (AWS, GCE, Azure)
• Administration of one or more RDMS platforms (MySQL, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Postgres, MariaDB)
• Programming/scripting (Java, JavaScript, BASH, Perl, Ruby, C#, PHP)
• Kubernetes administration

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or similar work
• Expert IT systems administrator with 3-5 years of experience
• Government clearance at the Top Secret level or higher
• US Citizenship for public sector roles
• CompTIA Security+ certification required
