Job Description

Efforts will focus on DevOps engineering of a modernization effort to converge NSA’s authoring, dissemination, and other supporting tools.

Responsibilities will include:

deploying applications;
installing and configuring complex software;
managing network servers and technology tools;
monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance;
troubleshooting issues and outages.

Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks).

Required Experience

Linux
AWS, MASH, and VMs
Docker Swarm
Deployments of distributed web applications (e.g. GitLab CI/CD)
Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
Ansible scripting and development
Thorough understanding of Docker & Docker Compose container technology
Git

Desired Experience

Python scripting and development
NiFi maintenance and configuration
Elasticsearch maintenance and configuration
Java / Spring Boot (troubleshooting error logs)
HAProxy
MongoDB
