Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with 12+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise DevOps solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud platforms, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, monitoring, security, and configuration management. This role requires close collaboration with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes.
• Collaborate with software development, QA, infrastructure, and security teams.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Create technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in on-call support and production incident management.

Requirements

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 8+ years in DevOps and Cloud Engineering.
• Strong experience building and maintaining enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps environments.
• Strong scripting, automation, troubleshooting, and production support skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• One or more of the following certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), HashiCorp Terraform Associate, Docker Certified Associate, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
