Responsibilities
The Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing and managing processes, tools, and run-time environments in support of automated build and release, observability, and traceability paradigms. Additional responsibilities include building and maintaining ancillary systems and solutions that serve to enhance the security, stability, availability, and performance of the deliverables under their purview. This role necessitates right coordination and collaboration with product delivery teams, including Development, DataOps, QA, Customer Support, and Operations personnel to ensure ongoing organizational success.
- Identify, design, architect, implement, and document automation strategies.
- Partner with developers to implement high-performing continuous integration pipelines.
- Understand software engineering, networking, & security best practices and the impact they have on efficiency.
- Evangelize and contribute to effective use of DevOps practices and Cloud solutions.
