Senior DevOps Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud-based production environment, specifically in AWS. They will be responsible for developing and managing CI/CD pipelines, overseeing automation and monitoring of solutions, collaborating with development teams, and integrating with security measures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines automating the build and deployment processes
- Oversee design, development, and operation of all automation requirements and workflows to support development, testing, and deployment
- Maintain and improve Infrastructure as Code (IAC) standards and templates
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IAC) standards and templates
- Identify manual processes and procedures and design and implement automation solutions using cloud native services and processes
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience with Repository Management Tools like Git, or equivalent, and CI/CD Pipelines
- 6+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as CDK/Python
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining container platforms (e.g., PAS/TAS, PKS/TKGI, GKE, IBM Redhat OpenShift, ARO, ROSA)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience using scripting languages such as Python, BASH, and PowerShell
- Experience with networking, vpc, vpce, transit gateway, IP, DNS, network load balancers and CDN
- 1+ years of experience using GenAI assistants or LLM developer tools incorporating AI into daily operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Skills
- Experience with mySQL, SQL and noSQL Databases
- Experience with YAML/JSON and other extension configuration tools
- Experience with Web servers and engines, i.e., Tomcat/Apache/nginx
- Experience in Integration Engineering and/or Professional Services
- Experience with SSO, HMAC, OAuth, Certificates and token cryptographic authentication methods/techniques

Pay
The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 - $186,000.00. These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
Schedule
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
