About the role

The DevOps team at Envestnet is a vibrant, cross-functional group dedicated to streamlining and automating the software delivery lifecycle. You'll join a collaborative environment where engineers work closely with development, security, SRE, and operations teams across various geographies, all united in optimizing the deployment of applications and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Provision users, roles, projects, and permissions; build tools and automation for GitLab.
Design and implement delivery pipelines for applications and infrastructure; integrate quality, security, and process gates to identify issues early.
Develop and maintain Terraform components for AWS.
Deploy and maintain applications in AWS EKS using ArgoCD and Istio; ensure scalability, reliability, and security; build reusable Kubernetes resources with Helm.
Collaborate with security and audit teams to integrate vulnerability scans and process checks into CI/CD pipelines; participate in quarterly audits and automate evidence collection for auditors.
Work closely with development, security, SRE, and operations teams across multiple geographies.
Build tools to enhance DevOps efficiency and increase pipeline velocity.
Adhere to and apply Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policies within the role and department(s).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripts, Terraform, Helm
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Istio, ArgoCD
Familiarity with GitLab, GitLab APIs, GitLab CI/CD
Nice-to-haves: Experience with Open Policy Agent, Rego, Microsoft Azure; Knowledge of MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch

Qualifications

Strong understanding of HTTP protocols, REST APIs, and authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth)
Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Istio, ArgoCD
Knowledge of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policies
