Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

A highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer is required to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure, managing cloud services, and ensuring high availability and performance of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment processes
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, security, and operations
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Ensure compliance with security policies and standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and technologies
• Knowledge of serverless architectures and AWS Lambda
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Linux command-line proficiency
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
• Understanding of network protocols and security best practices

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
