Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead the Relias Healthcare business development function.
- Develop a growth roadmap aligned with Relias’ strategic, operational, clinical, and margin goals.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new hospital and health system partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospital CEOs, CFOs, COOs, CMOs, consultants, and physician leaders.
- Lead the development process from early relationship building through proposal, pro forma, negotiation support, and operational handoff.
- Work with finance and operations to evaluate contract economics, staffing models, margin, and long-term value.
- Support RFP responses, presentations, proposals, and executive-level conversations.
- Create discipline around pipeline management, market prioritization, and deal-stage reporting.
- Partner with marketing to refine Relias’ growth message and public-facing materials.
- Represent Relias at industry events, conferences, and strategic meetings.
Qualifications
- 5 or more years of healthcare business development, sales, strategy, operations, or partnership experience.
- Experience in hospital-based physician services, acute care services, physician practice management, or complex healthcare service lines.
- Strong relationships with hospital or health system executives, preferably in the Southeast or Gulf states.
- Experience managing a full business development process, including prospecting, proposals, RFPs, executive presentations, and negotiation support.
- Ability to understand and facilitate work around pro formas, contract economics, pricing strategy, staffing models, and margin impact.
- Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel regularly.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience building or professionalizing a business development function.
- Experience with HubSpot or another CRM platform.
- Experience in a physician-led, founder-led, entrepreneurial, or high-growth healthcare organization.
