Senior Developer, CI Architecture

About the Role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Developer CI Architecture to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve CI architectures for GitHub Actions across Product Engineering
• Redesign and improve slow or fragile CI pipelines with measurable outcomes
• Enhance the CI developer experience by simplifying failure diagnostics
• Create tooling and templates to embed best practices into workflows
• Drive performance optimization in application-layer builds and testing
• Establish observability loops translating CI metrics into actionable insights

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in CI/CD pipeline design or enhancement (GitHub Actions preferred)
• Hands-on expertise in optimizing build and test performance
• Familiarity with multi-platform build environments (macOS, Windows, Linux)
• Strong fundamentals in software engineering and systems thinking
• Practical debugging skills across several layers of application development

Pay

Compensation: $153,000 – $214,000 annually
