Senior Developer, Analytics (Hybrid)
About the role
Build the data layer that drives how manufacturing decisions get made. At ProAmpac, we’re evolving how data powers the business. This role focuses on building the backbone of enterprise analytics in a complex, fast-moving manufacturing environment. You’ll lead development of enterprise analytics centered on manufacturing, costing, and margin performance, shaping systems that explain where money is made, where it’s lost, and what to do about it.
This is a builder role with high visibility, tied to revenue, cost, and operational performance. You’ll help define how analytics is done going forward in a modernization environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and build manufacturing costing and margin analytics
- Develop executive and operational reporting in Power BI that people actually use
- Engineer scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric / Synapse, SQL, and Delta Lake
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines across ERP and enterprise systems
- Apply Python / PySpark to automate, scale, and optimize data workflows
- Establish governed, repeatable data models aligned with financial controls
- Partner directly with Finance, Cost Accounting, Operations, and Leadership to translate business problems into data solutions
Requirements
- 8+ years in analytics, data engineering, or BI development
- Proven experience with manufacturing cost or financial analytics
- Advanced skills in Power BI (DAX, modeling, performance tuning)
- Advanced SQL (complex querying, optimization)
- ETL design and development experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric / Synapse
- Proficiency in Python / PySpark
- Strong understanding of data governance, controls, and scalable design
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and translate ambiguity into structure
