Senior Desktop Engineer

About the role

This position ensures complete and timely resolution of Client Services desktop engineering issues, packages, tests, and deploys applications, drivers, firmware, and software. It involves setting up and maintaining test labs, providing third-level escalation support to the desktop support team, leading enterprise projects, and supporting hardware, software, and mobile devices in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Packages, tests, and deploys applications, drivers, firmware, and software
• Provides third-level escalation support to the desktop support team
• Supports hardware, software, and mobile devices in a clinical environment
• Assists with interviewing and the hiring process
• Performs ticket analysis and review

Requirements

• Requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through the completion of an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or closely related field)
• Requires 7 to 9 years of previous work related experience

Qualifications

• Requires analytical ability to collect information from and apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and data in order to solve problems

Skills

• Knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through the completion of an Associate’s Degree or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or closely related field)
• Experience in analyzing information and applying professional principles to solve problems
