Senior Designer, Visual & Motion

The Role

Envisionit, a digital marketing agency based in Chicago, is seeking a Senior Designer, Visual & Motion to join our team. The role is primarily visual design with strong motion capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and digital marketing specialists to drive the visual design of clients' marketing campaigns.
• Solve problems visually by turning strategy and data into strong visual executions, working closely with copywriters to determine ideal hierarchy and messaging for conversion.
• Create cutting-edge motion graphics and video content that captivates and engages clients' audiences across digital platforms.
• Lead projects from conception through to final production, ensuring a cohesive visual style that aligns with client brand and campaign goals.
• Develop detailed storyboards and visual concepts to clearly communicate creative ideas to team members and clients.
• Present work to clients in client-facing presentations, sharing ideas and rationale for creative decisions.
• Proactively make recommendations to clients and produce memorable work that delivers results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in both visual and motion design, with a compelling portfolio showcasing a wide range of skills in the digital space.
• A profound ability to craft stories and concepts through design and motion, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of timing and visual aesthetics.
• Strong proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Premiere Pro, and other relevant software.
• Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Confidence in leading projects and presenting creative ideas to stakeholders.
• A driven, organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to meeting deadlines.
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning new techniques and technologies.
• Experience in B2B and/or fintech motion design is a significant plus.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - 85,000 USD. This is a good-faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and any potential offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process.
