About the role
We are seeking experienced Mid - Senior Designers, professionally trained with a degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Product / UI UX, BFA or similar.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine AI prompts to test and improve model creativity.
- Evaluate AI output and provide detailed critique.
- Iterate and refine designs through multiple rounds of prompting and feedback.
- Adapt prompting techniques and evaluation approaches based on feedback.
- Vote and rank for preference data to help train models on what "great" looks like.
- Design from scratch, including brand guidelines, design systems, decks, and visual assets across styles and mediums.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional design experience with strong experience creating briefs (prompts).
- A strong eye across traditional design disciplines such as Web, Product, Slides, Brand, Gaming, etc.
- Extensive experience conducting structured high-level design briefs.
- Experience giving design feedback in a professional setting, including creative direction and design reviews.
- Extensive experience providing design feedback and direction, including mentoring designers and guiding creative decisions.
Qualifications
- Mastery across various types of assets and mediums from print to digital.
- Hands-on experience ideating and putting creative ideas onto paper to form creative briefs.
- Considered an analytical storyteller, both through creative output and in creative direction and instruction.
- Proficiency in remote-first work from anywhere, with a focus on asynchronous project work.
- Competitive rates determined based on market standards, with mid to senior level designers typically earning between $45 - $80 per hour in the United States.
Skills
- Proficiency in SVGs, icons, diagrams, infographics, visual systems, editorial graphics, and data visualization.
- Expertise in logos, typography systems, visual identities, and scalable brand expression.
- Experience in design critique, accessibility review, structured evaluations, pixel-level UI analysis, and quality assurance.
