SENIOR DESIGNER (CIVIL)

About the role

Routinely plans and coordinates detailed aspects of the engineering work, completes portions of project documents, assists Engineers and/or Department Manager with delegation of tasks, interacts with Clients and officials for project tasks, and does other related duties as required. Must be knowledgeable of state and local regulations and able to organize assigned work and develop effective work methods.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate design
• Performs research and analysis
• Designs, analyzes and interprets
• Assigns tasks to technical and administrative staff
• Performs a thorough review of completed work
• Affords assistance with scheduling and budgetary planning
• Affords assistance with proposals and project close
• Attends project meetings and presents specific aspects of technical work

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 3+ years of related experience
• PE License track preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Knowledgeable in AutoCAD (AutoCAD Civil 3D experience a plus)

Schedule

Full-time position, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday

Pay

$36 – $40/hr, based on experience and qualifications
