Senior Design Program Manager II

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Design Program Manager II to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space. This role will drive the delivery of complex design initiatives across multiple teams, with a strong focus on operational rigor, design systems alignment, and scalable program execution. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of program leadership, design sensibility, and technical fluency to improve how design work moves from concept through execution. You will also partner closely with design, engineering, and vendor stakeholders to create efficient workflows that support team health and business outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $185,000 – $195,000 annually Responsibilities Drive end-to-end delivery of complex design initiatives across multiple teams Build and deploy AI-enabled workflows to automate program management tasks Own strategic vendor relationships and contract management for design tooling Champion team health through capacity planning and resource allocation Partner with the design system team to align programs with system evolution Apply design thinking to program design and operational experiences Qualifications 6+ years in program management and design operations within design or product organizations Strong product sense and design craft sensibility Experience with all stages of the product development lifecycle Technical fluency to collaborate with design system and engineering teams Proven track record driving complex, cross-functional programs from 0-1 AI fluency and experience leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency Vendor and contract management experience Benefits Remote work flexibility under a flexible remote-work policy Eligibility for new hire equity grants and annual refresh grants Market-competitive compensation and benefits based on location Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
