Senior Deputy Program Manager Engineering
Basic Qualifications
Education Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
Clearance Requirements
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Leads the planning and ensures monitoring and control for assigned development programs
- Responsible for Cost, Schedule, and Technical performance for all engineering efforts
- Ensures all project deliverables are developed with high quality and delivered on time
- Manages the engineering related risks and opportunities of the program
- Conducts monthly Engineering Status Reviews
- Manages the resolution of technical issues
- Ensures that team members are recognized for their contributions
- Takes immediate & decisive action in dealing with technical & performance issues
- Aids in Proposal and ROM development
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 8 years project management experience leading hardware and software development teams
- 5 years technical experience; preferrably with embedded systems
- Significant experience using Microsoft Project
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies
- Prominent organizational and time management skills
- Prominent communication skills
- Strong leadership & mentoring skills

Pay
Target salary range: USD $160,047.00/Yr. - USD $181,835.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
