Job Description
We're looking for a sharp, motivated individual to grow into a senior leadership role within our Workers' Compensation department. This is not a 'sit and wait for instructions' position — it's a role for someone who wants to own their work, develop real expertise in legal operations, and eventually lead a team.
If you're someone who is hungry, highly organized, a fast learner, and genuinely excited to build a career in law — we want to meet you. Legal experience is a plus, not a requirement. We'll teach you what you need to know.
- Coordinating calendars, deadlines, scheduling, and logistics across cases and departments
- Communicating with attorneys, legal assistants, clients, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors
- Tracking case-related deadlines and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks
- Organizing and maintaining records, notices, documentation, and correspondence
- Processing and routing invoices and administrative paperwork
- Supporting and eventually mentoring fellow team members as you develop expertise
- Collaborating with department leadership on process improvements and special projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in college (preferred but not required)
- 1+ year of experience in a legal, administrative, or professional office environment (preferred but not required)
- Exposure to legal case management software or scheduling tools (preferred but not required)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
Additional Information
- Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and unlimited paid time off (PTO)
- Opportunities for professional development and continuing legal education (CLE)
- A supportive work environment dedicated to teamwork, integrity, and excellence in client service
