Senior Delivery Consultant - Security

About the role

The AWS Professional Services team is seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant - Security to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role involves designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions that meet customer technical and business objectives. You will provide technical guidance and best practices throughout the project lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor to customers.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts

Requirements

• Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services
• Proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions
• Experience with security services and best practices
• Experience with scripting languages and/or customer-facing IT roles
• Experience with automation and scripting tools
• Understanding of industry standards and implementation experience with enterprise security solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• 1+ years of advanced incident response experience
• 5+ years of experience with security services and best practices
• 3+ years of scripting language experience, or 2+ years of customer-facing IT role or physical security systems/infrastructure work experience
