Senior Database Manager

Client: Non Profit OrganizationTitle: Senior Database ManagerContract to HirePayrate: $40/hr-$45/hrLocation: REMOTE 100% (Available to work on EST preferably) Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Database Manager to oversee fundraising technology, donor data integrity, gift processing, reporting, and CRM optimization. This role will manage fundraising databases and related technologies while supporting data-driven decision-making, fundraising effectiveness, and organizational growth. Key Responsibilities Administer Raiser's Edge Database View, Raiser's Edge NXT, and Luminate Online, including constituent records, gift records, user access, imports, exports, and system maintenance.Manage gift processing, pledges, recurring donations, acknowledgments, donor records, and reconciliation with Finance.Establish data governance standards, conduct audits, and oversee database cleanup, deduplication, and quality assurance.Lead database migrations, data mapping, system integrations, and automation initiatives.Develop queries, reports, dashboards, and donor analytics to support fundraising performance, campaign tracking, donor segmentation, and executive reporting.Manage Luminate Online integrations, online giving processes, email campaigns, donation forms, and digital fundraising data.Utilize Excel, Power Query, Power Automate, Omatic, and API integrations to improve reporting and operational efficiency.Train staff on database systems, reporting tools, and data management best practices.Collaborate with Development, Marketing, Finance, Events, executive leadership, vendors, and technical support teams to optimize systems and processes.Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum 5 years of experience administering Raiser's Edge Database View and Raiser's Edge NXT.Minimum 7 years of nonprofit fundraising operations experience.Advanced knowledge of Raiser's Edge NXT, Database View, and Luminate Online.Experience with donor database migrations, data mapping, data governance, gift processing, and fundraising operations.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience managing large datasets.Proven ability to develop reports, queries, dashboards, and donor analytics. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SKY API, Omatic, RE-LO, Power Query, Power Automate, and integration platforms.Experience developing executive dashboards and fundraising performance reports.Knowledge of campaign management, moves management, donor segmentation, and prospect analytics.Experience supporting online fundraising, digital marketing, and donor engagement initiatives. Technical Skills Blackbaud Platforms: Raiser's Edge NXT, Raiser's Edge Database View, Luminate Online, SKY API.Reporting & Analytics: Microsoft Excel, Raiser's Edge NXT queries, dashboards, and list reporting.Integration & Automation: Omatic, RE-LO, Power Query, Power Automate, and API integrations.
