Senior Data/Visualization Engineer with Security Clearance

About the role

The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring the security of JCS Solutions LLC's systems and data. This includes implementing and maintaining security protocols, conducting security assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments
• Respond to security incidents and breaches
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other IT teams to enhance overall security posture

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 7 years of experience in cybersecurity roles
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems
• Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Skills

• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001
• Experience with cloud security and compliance
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
• Experience with security architecture design and implementation
