Senior Data Steward Manager

About the role

The Senior Data Steward Manager will oversee the management and governance of data assets within Tiger Analytics, supporting the Global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) program.

Responsibilities

• Support the global IBP program to identify and validate data sources to fulfill IBP requirements
• Partner with business and tech teams to address data source gaps and ensure meaningful final datasets for use cases
• Conduct trend and pattern analysis
• Perform source to target mapping (STTM)
• Define and capture business-facing data quality rules
• Complete data cataloging while adhering to global governance standards
• Maintain and address data quality scorecards and reports
• Promote data accuracy and adherence to PepsiCo's data management and governance practices
• Drive acceptance of PepsiCo's enterprise data standards and policies across various business segments
• Coordinate across the organization to maintain consistency of critical enterprise, digital, operational, and analytical data
• Ensure data-centric activities align with the enterprise data governance program and leverage applicable data standards, processes, and best practices
• Capture and build aggregation and disaggregation logic for master data and transactional data joins

Qualifications / Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Data Governance or Data Management within a global CPG company or similar industry
• Strong data management background with understanding of data ingestion, proper data use/consumption, data quality, and stewardship
• Experience with SAP Forecast to Schedule (FTS) module
• Excel proficiency, including experience profiling with Excel
• Experience researching, validating, profiling, and cataloging datasets
• Informatica (EDC, Axon, IDQ, Reference 360) experience preferred
• O9 Solutions IBP module experience plus
• Highly motivated with ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and knowledge of master data elements and processes
• Ability to translate business requirements into critical data dependencies and requirements
• Analytical mindset with strong communication skills; ability to influence others at all organization levels
• Self-starter who welcomes responsibility and thrives in an evolving organization
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
