Senior Data Security Architect

The Data Security Architect is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure architectures that protect critical business, operational, and manufacturing data across cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments. Key duties include developing enterprise data security standards, implementing data protection controls in AWS and Azure, and establishing secure data architecture patterns for data lakes, analytics, ERP, and AI/ML workloads. They will architect secure data flows between IT and OT systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into platform lifecycle processes, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to security engineers. Qualifications include a minimum of 8 years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on data security and cloud architecture, proven design experience in AWS/Azure, and knowledge of data governance, encryption, IAM, and zero trust concepts. Preferred skills include relevant certifications (CISSP, AWS/Azure Security), experience in manufacturing or OT environments, and supporting large-scale cloud migrations. Skills encompass problem-solving, communication, and influencing technical and business stakeholders to ensure data protection across diverse platforms.
