About This Role
As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Faire, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the company's Data, Machine Learning, and Engineering teams. Reporting to senior leadership, you will set recruiting strategy, drive process excellence, and serve as a force multiplier for the broader recruiting team. This role is based in San Francisco and offers significant scope to influence recruiting strategy as the business evolves.
What You'll Do
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for senior technical roles, including Staff and Principal levels.
- Act as a strategic talent partner, shaping role requirements, calibrating market dynamics, and driving data-informed hiring processes.
- Own and evolve sourcing strategy, building differentiated approaches through various channels.
- Promote candidate experience, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and compelling processes.
- Manage complex offer negotiations, providing expert guidance on compensation, equity, and closing strategies.
- Contribute to pipeline reporting and hiring insights, influencing leadership decision-making.
- Elevate best practices, sponsor process improvements, and shape Faire's approach to technical recruiting at scale.
- Champion Faire's values and DEI commitments, ensuring inclusive and equitable hiring practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years focused on senior technical hiring.
- Experience operating as a strategic partner to senior engineering or data leadership.
- Proven ability to close Staff+ and leadership-level technical candidates in competitive markets.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches, stakeholders, and pipelines simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with a track record of using pipeline and hiring insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, able to navigate ambiguity and build trust quickly.
- Passionate about candidate experience, employer branding, and building inclusive, high-performing teams.
Pay Range
San Francisco, CA: The pay range for this role is $148,000 to $203,500 per year. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. Base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. Faire uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to screen and select applicants for this position.

Workplace Details
- Hybrid model: Employees work 3 days per week in the office and have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year.
